W. POST. Stop fooling around

Once again, Washington and the media are mislead about Iraq. One could even tell they've completely lost their minds focusing on pointless details, instead of solving problems, and Americans are usually good at solving them.

It is actually evident that the U.S. has tried to reproduce the Nuremberg trials in the Middle East, with a very different country. Iraq is not Germany. A German and an American could have some similarities, but when two mentalities, two ways of thinking about the world, come so close, anything could happen.

And, definitely, Saddam's show is a minor fact in Iraq's daily news. As we state at the bottom, there's been a major offensive this week in Samarra: terrorist camps. That's one of the facts in Iraq. Another one is the totally undercover outgoing civil war between Shiites and Sunnites, which is the main cause of death in the mid-western country.

We should stop wasting time in Saddam, so, and focus on the main Iraqi issues, such as terrorism and violence. Today Iraq is a country at war. At war with himself, and this must be stopped if any democracy is to be consolidated.

As to Saddam, a ruthless suggestion should come forward: hand him over to the shiites of Basorah, hand him over to the thousands of families, victims of a cruel regime... and let him find the death he brought to so many. Unfair, maybe, but on the account of those victims.
