10 weeks together. Seems just like yesterday. As a matter of fact, is was yesterday! We've seen this blog grow larger and larger and get together a good team of amateur and professional journalists in order to comment what's happening around the globe.
And in 10 weeks of work, I think we're reaching our goal. The number , just like you, continue to grow and that is worth all the effort.
Plus, this week, we have Patricia who's been in Paris working for Vogue, will tell us more about a political battle in France: who will replace Chirac in the leadership of the right-based Gaullistes? The struggle lies between Mr. De Villepin and Mr. Sarkozy.
Across the Pyrenees, in Italy, dire news come in of the assassination of a politician by the local mafia. It's unfair that crime, in the 21st century is still not paying. But, as many have said in Italy, it's a matter of culture, not poverty.
Here in Spain, the classical summit between Spain, Portugal and most of latin-american leaders took place in Salamanca. Venezuela's Chavez took profit to visit and critizice Spanish media... who actually are the only reason for Mr. Zapatero to stay in office... He keeps gathering good friends.
And in America, Everybody's worried for Delphi's bankrupcy. The situation is certainly not bad. But in times of challenge, there's also people who see oportunity, and this means reconversion in those days. The Industry Belt should become a gigantic Silicon Valley to compete with Japan and Europe, who definitely lead the research in High-tech based industry. America created both Apple and Microsoft, and yet can't take over its partners... amazing.
In our entertainment section, Mr. Panero will delight us with a critic from Jaume Balaguero's last film, starring Callista Flockhart.
I'm Miguel Vinuesa and these is news to me!
