I know I keep being pessimistic. This week I even gave El Mundo a vacation... and that paper is the one I have coffee with, every morning. The only one that fully reflects my anger at the spanish gov't and all... Not commenting an article from there turns the week into a total state of darkness, where only socialism, Al-Qaida-lead terrorism and "regional nationalists" are all I see...
It is true that, compared to spanish one, Italian politics are a rough game. Francesco Fini had to face an inner rebellion, discovered by a leftist paper, and then reflected into the Corriere. Fini dealt with it as only a fascist would do: he beheaded his own party, but he won't step down. As I say in the comment, I'm in disagreement both by airing scoops of the kind without authorisation, and with beheading a party, "the Fini's way"...
Now, in Argentina they have a strong motivation with politicians. their president, Kischner, has spent the last months (only since March), to make campaing for legislative elections that are to take place in october... an extra-offical campaing paid, of course, by the contributor.
In France, though, they were extraordinarily worried about that German negative of extradite a turkish-german suspected bomber to Spain. So much worried about the fact that Germans were opposing the main European figure for extradition, the Euro-order, with national law. Le Monde being a totally Europe-entusiatic paper, they are not seing the essence of the question, though, that was not a law getting over the other but, instead, law convergence into one main text... in other words, the Constitution, yet to be ratified. Don't take me as one of its defenders, though!
That said, I strongly encourage you to post your comments, under each post
thank you!
